A hard day for the WOX, though they continue to improve and show the grit and courage we have come to love in those men and women who wear our famous jumper.

Coach Rohenna Young reports:

It was a tough game but the final score did not show the level of skill that demonstrated by our young team. We had probably more than 50% of the play and strung many kick to mark plays together, which shows real improvement against a top team.

Every one of their goals was a result of a turn over and their experience to run to the right spots and read the play better than us.

Scoring is the key to footy, and so we need to find a way to get the ball effectively into our forward line and convert opportunities into goals.

Training is important for overall team development but importantly individual skill improvement and confidence. We still have a lot to prove this season and we can still shape the ladder and make a real impact in our first season.
