The Old Xaverians Football Club notes with deep sadness the passing of Brian Lawler on 15 April.

Brian played just 26 games for the club in the early 1960s, but maintained a long-standing interst in the OXFC and was, for very many years until 2025, a generous financial supporter of our club. He will be missed by his many friends as well as his beloved family

Our sincere sympathies are with his wife Liz, and their children James, Peter, Victoria and Andrew and their families.

The Requiem Mass to celebrate the life of Brian Lalwer was held at Xavier on Monday.

May eternal light shine upon him.
