Big Ben Moyle, whose work in the ruck and around the ground drove the Reserves to many a victory and also a premiership last Friday, has won the Terry Landrigan Medal for 2026.

Each week, all players in the Seniors and Reserves teams vote for three teammates whom they most enjoyed playing alongside. The top six vote getters each week, usually a mixture of Senior and Reserves players, are then allotted points between one and six.

The count went to the wire, and the big crowd was on tenterhooks. All home and away and finals games were tallied, and Moyle (27 points) became the fourth player to receive the prestigious award winning by one from Marcus Stavrou (who won with Hugh Basset in 2024). Last year's winner Alex Trigar mised too many games and fell from his perch, while others began to climb. Sammy Hansen and Kye Walford finished equal third, Tom Hart sixth, Bobby Knott and Senior Sestan eqaul seventh.

The great man Terry Landrigan was there to present the medal to the big fellow, and to congratulate Moyle and all the players for their efforts during the season just completed. 'I know how much you, all of you, put in, and as supporters, that's all we can ask for,' he said.
