All coaches know that their teams have secret timetables and that patience is not only a virtue, but a necessity. Sometimes the cavalry turns up early, sometimes late and occasionally, not at all.

On Saturday, Collegians danced away from the Red 'n' Blacks, to lead by nearly five goals at the half. But these Browne's cows are dairy cows, and there was plenty of cream that rose to the top in the second half.
