CROCS BACKING CLONTARF

The Reptiles assist development of ATSI men.

May 19, 2022

For season 2022, the Crocs have committed to support a range of indigenous organisations which are focused on improving men's mental health and wellbeing. Over the Easter period, coach Tom Bergin, delivered the first small donation to the Clontarf Foundation in Darwin on behalf of the team.

The Clontarf organisation aims to improve the education, discipline, life skills, self-esteem and employment prospects of young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men.

"When we had our season launch, our players agreed they wanted to do some community work while also pursuing our footy goals. Having regular fundraiser initiatives to support Indigenous men was one small way in which we were able to do this ". - Tom Bergin, Coach

The team plans to have other small fundraising activities in the next few months which will help go towards supporting organisations such as the Clontarf Foundation, to operate more effectively and be set up for success.

A big congratulations to the Crocs for their wonderful initiative in raising much needed funds for young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander men.

If you would like to get involved in volunteering with Indigenous groups or if you would like to donate, please get in touch with Tom Bergin or the team.
