The powerful Red 'n Blacks inflicted a 66 point hiding to Uni Blues in their R7 clash at Toorak Park. Equal on premiership points before the game, the Xavs put the foot down after an even first term. Charlie Ralph was best for the victors, who had seven goalkickers and a defence that refused to quit.
The Crocs fell to Old Trinity as the Ts came home harder. Details to come.
The U23s had a strong win over Uni Blacks in their R7 clash at Toorak Park. Will Stevens was best and kicked two in the win, which saw the Xavs replace the Phoenix at the top of the ladder.
Sam Landrigan was best and Will Beattie kicked three as the Xavs held out Fitzroy in a tense final stanza.
