Ray McLean was a jack-of-all-trades around the club for many years, particularly in the late 80s throughout the 1990s. He was in charge of maintenance work at Toorak Park, was team manager for the 1s and 2s, ran the bar after games, organised catering for the Thursday night meals and was the man that committeemen and coaches sought out whenever there was a job to be done. 'Razor' was awarded the Denton in 1995 for his long and conspicuous service.
