Another sterling effort from the WOX against the top team, and without a full bench, it was always going to be difficult.

This from coach Rohenna Young:

Despite not getting the four points the game v SKOBS was a good, team, four quarter effort.

Playing the very experienced top of the ladder team was a tough assignment but right up until the last quarter, we were right in the game.

We really gave them a big scare and they will need to have a good look at how shaken they were by our fierce attack on the ball and tackling pressure.

We still got some good possession strings together with kicks hitting our leading players, we just can't get enough valuable possession in the forward line.

This week we will really emphasise, and work on at training, clean pick up and possession from ground balls.

If we can run through and get those clean pick ups our entries into the forward line will be quicker and more likely to be one-on-one, which we can win and then hopefully score.

Great, tough team effort - well done all of you!
