The Menages season ended abruptly when they fell to Uni Blacks at Toorak Park in their final reguar season contest. Needing to win to displace Les Noirs, the Triangles just couldn't get it done.

Old Xavs lost the rumble at Ramsden Street and it cost them second spot and the double chance. The Red 'n' blacks led at every change, but were over-run in the final stanza. Now, the X-Men face Old Melburnians in a knockout final next week.
