New coach Pat Allan commenced his coaching career with a win as the U19 Reserves pounded SKOBs by 99 points.

The Red and Blacks had some excellent performers, with debutants Josh Lyon booting nine and Xavier Romanin-Green turning in a best on ground performance.

Once again, the Xavs' depth at U19 level appears to be outstanding and Coach allan should have plenty to work with. Despite the win, he won't allow his team to get carried away with beating SKOB's third junior outfit.

Thee will be tougher days ahead, but a four-quarter effort first up is surely a strong sign of excellent things to come.
