Boleslas Slaweski, a veteran of WWI, was a longtime trainer at the club whose contribution was huge in an era where resources were scarce. He was also involved in the OXCC. Boles was a prominent dance teacher and organiser of many large dances. For a long time, he donated the Dancing Prizes at Xavier College.
