When O’Callaghan Commercial Pty Ltd opened its doors in August 2007, it was a new brand in Melbourne’s commercial property marketplace. Its founding partner, David O’Callaghan, however, has been a leading commercial agent for the past 23 years.
The O’Callaghan name has been synonymous with Melbourne’s commercial and industrial marketplace since the 1960s, when David’s grandfather founded what was known for decades as McGee O’Callaghan Gill.
David commenced his career in 1985 and has since held senior positions with 3 real estate agencies, including nearly 10 years in his last position.
In 1991 David won the REIV’s novice auctioneers’ competition. He is a past chairman of the REIV’s Auction committee, a director and board member of the REIV, and an executive member of the REIV’s Commercial & Industrial Chapter (C&I).
O’Callaghan Commercial also provides specialised auction services, and David consults to many of the top tier commercial estate agencies in Melbourne.
Over the years, David O’Callaghan has conducted a vast array of auctions and sales for some of Australia’s largest companies, institutions, government bodies and private clients.
