Read MoreWe are saddened to learn of the passing of Geoff Harris on Saturday night. He was 65.
Geoff, with his business partner Ross Freer, was a long-time major sponsor and supporter of our club, initially through Harris Freer Toyota and latterly through the Harris Freer Hardwick Group.
Educated at St Bernard’s, Geoff nonetheless took great interest in the progress of our club, attending many games and functions. He was well known by many of his fellow sponsors and club officials, all of whom liked and respected him. Geoff’s eldest daughter Kate is married to OXFC legend Jono Hardwick
Our sincere condolences to Geoff’s wife Helen, and to his four daughters and extended family.
Funeral Prayers for Geoff will be offered at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 345 Burwood Rd, Hawthorn next Monday 26 March at 10.00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Peter MacFoundation.
May perpetual light shine upon him and may he rest in peace.
