Carlton looked to Barkers Road and chose both Finbar O’Dwyer and Ben Silvagni.

Carlton describes O’Dwyer as a lively 190cm forward who can prove troublesome for the opposition’s defence. His reading of the game as well as his agility are his assets.

Ben Silvagni joins his brother Jack at Princes Park.

Like his father Stephen, he can play forward or back. Carlton say he has “great hands and mobility for his size, and expect he could hold down a key role.
