Smash Marcellin at EP
In a dominant performance, the seniors far outclassed their Marcellin opponents with 19 goals to the Glenhuntly Road end for the day in a 120pt victory.
The debuts of John Shaw and Tyson Lloyd were the highlights for the day. Shaw was dominant but forward and with his ruck work around the ground. Sapuppo too was in good form rucking tirelessly for most of the day. Tyson Lloyd was lively in multiple roles and looks set for some fantastic senior football with the Club.
The forwards all chimed in with contributions on the scoreboard. Handley with 6 and Smith with 4 were the standouts - Smith continuing his sparkling form at Elsternwick Park, whilst Mercuri, Stean and Howard were all fantastic as the mosquito fleet for the day.
The back 6 were solid, especially youngsters Noonan and Ryan who continued their impressive form early in the season.
Agius worked tirelessly all day with a heavy tag, still managing to kick 2 damaging and classy goals.
Dimattina looked at ease in the midfield too and Prowse continued his fine start to the season on the Bowen wing.
Our attention now turns to Dairy Bell Arena in round 4 against last year's Grand Final opponent De La Salle, in what should be a cracking encounter.
