Under 19 2's Coach Needed for 2012
Calling all aspiring coaches!
The Old Xavs are seeking interested parties to apply for the role of coach of the Under 19 2's side. The role left vacant by Premiership coach Dan Curtain is a challenging one, but one that Dan would agree, is extremley rewarding.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of Old Xaverians Football Club Inc will be held on Monday 21 November 2011 in the Elms Room Caulfield Tabaret at at Caulfield Race Course Station Street Caulfield at 7:00 pm.Colby & Wynney in Ireland
Two Old Xav stars, Ryan Colbert and Nick Wynne are currently in Ireland representing the VAFA. They have been keeping a diary and here is the first instalment.
Tues 4th Oct - Wynney picks me up 30 mins behind schedule to head to the airport. Arrive at Tullamarine to witness 'Chairman of Selector' Michael Blood missing out on an exit seat. 30 hours, 4 hours sleep and 7 movies later we arrive in Cork. Stop overs in Singapore and London did break up the trip but fair to say I was happy to get away from an airport.

All 4 of the 2011 Old Xaverians premierships were filmed, and are now available for purchase.
Each game comes in a library box with a team photo print on the DVD. The under 19 games have commentary.
Once purchased the DVD will posted out to you, so please include your postal address where appropriate.

Last Boast Lunch
Jack Bowen's "Last Boast Lunch" is on again this Friday at The Fleece Hotel in Montague St, South Melbourne, from 12 noon.
This is your last chance to get together with fellow Old Xavs and boast about the success we have enjoyed in season 2011. From Friday onwards it's all about 2012!

Another Flag for Scanlan
One of the Old Xavs favourite sons, James Scanlan, has won back to back premierships for Gopu. Playing in Arnhem Land, Scans this year took on the role as coach, and led his boys to victory over Djarrak.
